Let me introduce myself, I'm Dana!
As a therapist, I serve individuals coping with grief and other challenging life changes, including chronic health conditions and becoming a caregiver, and provide the tools and support needed to not only cope, but to experience love win over sorrow.
My Story
Being a grief counselor is a privilege, and the opportunity to provide tools and support to you during this chapter of your story is my mission.

A deep desire to help others navigate the challenges of life led me to become a therapist to tend to the needs of those with coping with and caregiving for chronic illnesses, as well as the those navigating bereavement.

My own personal experiences, along with my work in the hospice field, opened my eyes to the profound necessity for compassionate and quality mental health care for those navigating the healthcare system and the often misunderstood experience of bereavement.

I do not believe in giving advice (who really likes being told what they "should" do, right?? Shame is not sustainable motivator!) but I do believe in giving tools to cope, and I hope our sessions together serve as an opportunity to fill your toolbox.

When I’m not in session...
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me on my yoga mat, teaching ballet, or spending time with family and friends. I love relaxing at the Jersey Shore and hanging out with my diva dog, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I value staying active, creative, and connected—it’s what helps me feel grounded and present in my work. Whether it’s finding calm through movement, laughter with loved ones, or quiet time by the ocean, these simple joys remind me of the importance of balance and self-care, which I strive to bring into the therapeutic space as well.
